Sourced from the neighboring Finca Santa Isabel and Finca Mirjam estates, Tierra Linda represents over seven decades of agricultural heritage in Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. This premium shade-grown coffee thrives beneath a protective canopy of native hardwoods and fruit trees, bordered by fifteen hectares of untouched, preserved forest. To combat climate change, the family champions sustainable agriculture, utilizing on-farm compost and natural biofertilizers to cultivate robust plant health and protect the local ecosystem.
This deep commitment to environmental stewardship extends directly into their post-harvest craft. Following a selective hand-harvest, the Caturra and Red Catuai cherries undergo a traditional washed process. They are rested to stabilize their natural sugars, then gently fermented in tiled tanks for up to 36 hours to cultivate a vibrant, fruity acidity. An eco-friendly washing phase minimizes water usage, safely channeling runoff into lined oxidation ponds to safeguard community streams. Expertly prepared for export at the renowned Cafetos de Segovia mill, the resulting cup is refined, beautifully balanced, and invites everyone to experience the finest Nicaraguan craftsmanship.

Keep the bag sealed, away from direct light, at room temperature. For best results use the coffee from day 7 to day 60 after roasting. Grind fresh before brewing.
We do not cut costs on green coffee, and we try to work with the same producers and importers season after season. If you want to know what we paid for a lot or how it scored on the cupping table, ask us: we are glad to share.
