With a coffee-growing heritage spanning over a century, fifth-generation producer Andrés Salaverría is deeply dedicated to the future of Salvadoran specialty coffee. After completing his Master’s degree in Coffee Economics and Science, Andrés returned to El Salvador to partner with his father, Don Jose Antonio, who expertly oversees farm management. Together, they form a dynamic team that balances time-honored agricultural practices with a forward-thinking approach to processing and commercialization. Their unified goal is to continuously diversify their offerings by adapting the latest global industry trends to the unique terroir of their beloved country.
Among their most prized estates is Finca Miramar, located near the town of La Majada in the renowned Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range. Thriving in rich volcanic soils, this 100% shade-grown coffee is the result of meticulous, selective manual harvesting. Beyond producing exceptional cup profiles, the Salaverría family is profoundly committed to environmental and social stewardship. Finca Miramar encompasses a natural forest reserve that the family donated to the National Forestry Association to protect exotic local flora and fauna. Furthermore, they actively invest in the surrounding communities, supplying vital health services and infrastructure for educational programs to ensure their agricultural success directly uplifts the region.

Keep the bag sealed, away from direct light, at room temperature. For best results use the coffee from day 7 to day 60 after roasting. Grind fresh before brewing.
We do not cut costs on green coffee, and we try to work with the same producers and importers season after season. If you want to know what we paid for a lot or how it scored on the cupping table, ask us: we are glad to share.
