About origin:

Nestled in the stunningly beautiful area of Jardin, within Colombia’s northwestern department of Antioquia, Finca Amigos is far more than just a coffee plantation. Launched in 2018 as an experimental project for Cafexport, it was created with a powerful dual purpose: to cultivate exceptional, exotic coffee varietals and to drive meaningful social impact.

​The farm actively transforms its local community by providing dedicated employment to individuals who previously worked at the regional cooperative. This commitment to the people of Jardin is matched only by their profound dedication to the land itself.

​Spanning 16 hectares at a soaring altitude of up to 1950 meters, Finca Amigos is designed as a masterclass in agricultural harmony:

• ​Experimental Cultivation (12 Hectares): This dedicated space serves as an agricultural playground for some of the coffee world’s most rare and sought-after varietals. The team meticulously cultivates exotic profiles like Java, Typica, Laurina, Rume Sudan, Tabi, and the legendary Geisha.
• ​Forest Conservation (4 Hectares): A full quarter of the farm’s land is strictly reserved for forest conservation, acting as a sanctuary to protect the natural ecosystem.
• Active Reforestation: To further enhance local biodiversity and soil health, the Fincamigos team has planted 650 native trees and plants across the property.
